It’s an amazing tool that actually made it fun to do something I loathe. I was highly skeptical at first, but long and short of it – this really really works and works amazingly well!We have been rebuilding our home for the past two years after hurricane Sandy. One of last major tasks is painting our second floor bedrooms, bathrooms, laundry room, hallways and closets. In all about 2600 square feet of living area, for which contractors quoted about $6,500 – $7,500 to paint. Given our tight budget, we decided to do this ourselves and explored using a sprayer. After a ton of research, speaking to sales people at DIY stores, and calling manufacturers directly, we settled on the Flexio 890.The combination of power, low weight, ability to adapt to painting objectives (fine vs. wide), support for a large variety of paint/stain types and the cost was why we ultimately made the purchase. It took about ten minutes to figure out how to use it and we hard our first room pained in about 30 minutes. We did do all trim work by hand, but…

It works as advertised I’m bulding a shop the size of single car garage and siding it with Hardie Board plank siding. I bought the Wagner Flexio 890 with high hopes and low expectations. I’ve owned a consumer level airless rig and it never lived up to any expectations. I’ve used high end airless rigs, but they are costy and take forever to clean. A page of instructions in small type for the step by step essential proceedures. This is my first HVLP sprayer and for the money (about half the cost of other rigs I’ve been scoping, I am very pleased. I haven’t used it for fine finishes, but that’s not why I got it. I have a shop to paint. The Flexio worked right out of its case and performed like a champ, spraying about a quart of un-thinned latex exterior paint smoothly in about 5 minutes. (about 20 12′ siding planks.) Clean-up is a snap. Rinse it out, pull out the tip assembly and rinse the parts in hot soapy water for a few minutes and brush it off clean with a dish brush.Be…

Rough start-but product got the job done This sprayer was highly recommended to me by a trusted friend. I received this unit and the canister assembly would not lock onto trigger assembly. I contacted seller-who is great-and they sent me another unit, no problem. I received the replacement unit, only to find out it had the same problem This one had a part# on it, p/n 0529789. I compared this to my friend’s-which locks properly and it is p/n 0529780. This is the manufacturer’s problem. I will advise at a later date if this gets rectified.I contacted Wagner customer service and sent them photos of the assembly. It turned out BOTH were broken. Wagner sent me another assembly and i was able to use the unit. I have sprayed 14 gallons of Weatherall paint through it and worked well. For a sprayer under 200.00, its performance was satisfactory. Keep in mind, anything over 12 feet high, you have to pack this unit up a ladder or hoist it via rope, as that’s all the hose you have. Clean-up is easy and the parts appear to be…
