The Wagner Power Painter Plus with EZ Tilt and Optimus Dual Tip Technology is hand held sprayer designed for the home owner to speed up painting projects up to 3 times as fast as a brush. It uses high speed piston pump technology in conjunction with the tungsten carbide Optimus Dual Tip to provide a professional fan shaped pattern preferred for achieving the best, most even finish. EZ Tilt allows you to spray at any angle. Great for shutters, lattice, sheds, fences, garages, and smaller houses. Sets up in less than 5 minutes and cleans up in less than 10 minutes.

Key Features: EZ Tilt flexible suction tube Optimus Dual Tip for even coverage, less overspray and more control Material selector for paint or stain Applies 6.6 gallons per hour Sure prime suction valve eliminates need for re-priming after refilling 1 quart twist ‘n lock material cup for easy attachment and removal Easy pour paint can lid Exclusive EZ TiltTM Flexible Suction Tube

Our EZ Tilt flex tube draws no matter which direction the paint sprayer is pointed — down at decks or straight up at gutters and eaves — for a finish as good as a professional painter with an expensive paint gun. Whichever way you look at exterior painting, you can’t beat the coverage, speed and finish you get by spraying with Wagner, the innovator in power painting. *Based on tests of similar sprayers, operated at a 90 degree angle, pointed directly upward or downward, with the paint reservoir less than half full.

Now spray a ceiling or a floor the right way – aim right at it. Our EZ Tilt flexible suction tube always draws paint because it always goes to where paint is in the cup – no matter which way you point the sprayer. Other sprayers don’t have it, so they draw air as the cup level goes down and spit and /or stop spraying.

OptimusTM Dual Tip – Professional Results And A Beautiful Finish

Optimus Dual Tip is superior to single-orifice tips. The dual tip creates a low-pressure vacuum between two spray jets, drawing more paint particles into the spray pattern. As a result you end up with more uniform coverage in a single pass. And the Optimus tip rotates so you can spray a horizontal or a vertical pattern.

Power Painter Plus with EZ Tilt is built with tungsten carbide components, from cylinder to spray tip. It can handle everything from stains and sealers to un-thinned exterior latex.

Product Features

  • New EZ tilt flexible suction tube for continuous flow when spraying up, down, or sideways
  • Optimus dual tip for better control and superior coverage
  • Sure prime valve retains material in the sprayer so no reprime when you refill
  • Twist Lock 1 quart cup for convenience and mobility
  • Paint and stain selector for optimal results with any material

Learn from My Mistakes Why 4 stars? This little unit is about as good as it gets. Once you get up the learning curve this tool will be in your arsenal for a long time. You have to be patient and learn the simple tricks. The pattern is smooth and never runs, watch your paint level. When it seizes:1)Don’t wig out2)Unscrew dual nozzle tip from gun, place tip in bucket of water.3)Unthread locknut from pump housing, remove pump housing including paint cup ALL IN ONE PEICE, place entire housing under running water.3)Dis-assemble pump housing. Let the pump cool. When it has cooled the piston should slide out. If not use a brass punch to drive the piston out. Your goal is to prevent scoring of either piston or inner pump housing. (if it seized then guess what?)4)Use the supplied brush to clean/lube housing. Wipe piston off. Inspect for paint behind the thermal expansion grooves. Paint should be there but the 1/4″ of the tip should be clean.5) Lube. Like your firearms. once…

Good low-cost choice I bought this sprayer from a local store, but have picked up a couple of accessories from Amazon. It’s a pretty good tool to have, it just take a bit of getting used to. I’m not sure about some of the bad reviews on here, yes it will sputter when the tank runs out, but it’s pretty easy to gauge where things are and refill before that happens. As with any atomizing-type paint sprayer, the nozzle will need to be cleaned occasionally (sometimes frequently, depending upon the binding agent in your paint). I sprayed about 1500 square feet of a house, walls and ceilings including, with approx. 15 gallons of Killz oil-based sealer/primer (getting rid of prior owner’s smoke smell and residue) and it did a good job. The thing sprayed ceilings like a champ. Just keep paint in the tank and spray the first shot back into a bucket to avoid splatter on the wall and it’s good to go.My only complaint is the capacity of the tank. A larger tank is not really an option, as it would…
