Great Value Prior to making any purchases, I normally do my research before doing so. Such was the case here; I read all of the reviews and was aware of all of the known issues. One thing I would like to point out is that this is one of the most inexpensive hand mixers available; to purchase this item expecting it to perform like higher-end models would be absurd. Of the 221 item under “hand mixers” on Amazon.com, there are only six items that cost less, one of which is a hand blender. I had two previous 62695v and never experienced the letting of metal bits like this one. (But I see that one reviewer has.) Also frustrating is that the machine only comes with one whisk attachment (both models) which causes you to sort of chase around the liquid you are trying to whisk. But once I purchased my second 62595v I had two whisks I used in tandem. I burned out the motors in the first hand mixer, (my fault, used it on dough, smoked…
