A simple desk I needed a cheap desk that was small and suitable for an old laptop and a small printer for my mom, esp. being so pressed for money at Holiday time. For a long time she was using an old child’s nightstand as her desk and it was uncomfortable because there was no room for anything, and no foot room. Upon looking at this item I noticed that it had a lot of negative review and I was afraid to give it a chance. The size, price and style of it however was perfect for my needs, esp since it had no keyboard slide out and it had the top area to the side for the printer. I decided to take a chance since I also signed up for Amazon prime recently and would receive free shipping. The desk is cheap, it is particleboard, not wood. The instructions were a bit tricky as well. Upon arrival the desk had been delivered safely, no damage. Putting it together it did hold though it was definitely a two man job. The only reason I give it four stars was because on the top piece of wood for the printer it…

Great Product If You’re on a Budget! I bought this desk because i desperately needed somewhere to put my stuff and i chose this product because of the price. Reading all the reviews I thought I would regret my purchase but I’m perfectly okay with the desk. Its nothing fancy but its a sturdy enough desk to work on. I understand why there were complaints about the desk, certain issues like the screws not fitting in the pre-drilled holes and what not but you just have to be patient and work with what you get, I had the same problem but was able to fix it fairly easily. Another problem mentioned was a part breaking off, I’m sorry to say but that only happened because you put too much pressure on the screws, I only tightened with enough pressure to secure the parts together, you just have to get the feel of when enough tightening has been applied. The desk is as good as it gets for $35 so just know that allot of these reviews aren’t being as fair as they should be considering the circumstances. Point simple, If you like the…

Cost and space efficient! Sturdy! READ! Important information related to assembling! I like it. I don’t know why people were saying it wasn’t sturdy. I posted a picture of mine on here and it is sturdy, even on carpet. It fits in my room really well and the espresso finish looks good. The bag the screws did bust open in the packaging causing some scratches and a little chip on the wood but they’re towards the back and you can’t tell so it’s not that big of a deal. I’m a 5′ tall, 95 lb college student who has never assembled anything like this and this was quite easy for me to build and follow the directions. I was a little confused at first but later got the hang of it. Also, *VERY IMPORTANT* Some people complained about how the screw holes do not align with the poles, this is true. There are two sets of poles, a smaller, shorter set and a wider, longer set. In the instructions it says to use the bigger poles at the bottom, do not do that. It will not align. I think there was a mix up in the instructions. Instead, use the small poles at the bottom and the board should…
